In Our First Meeting it is important for us to learn about each other. We discuss expectations, seasonal availability, and the tone of the wedding. The trust that happens between a bride and floral designer is silent. It is understated, but well understood. By the end of the appointment, the client should feel confident that the florist has your best interests in mind. This is the philosophy that each Donaroma's designer upholds in our standards as custom flower professionals.

Using the Materials You Have Collected we share swatches of fabric, little scraps of paper, wish lists, books and magazines. We develop the colors, texture and style of your wedding. The floral department uses this gathered information as reminders, goals, and references to enhance a comfortable Vineyard setting for you and your guests. Our work is sensitive to the subtleties of the various island towns, whether the ceremony is held in a Chilmark barn or a formal, federal style, sea captain's home.

Donaroma's has handled many weddings with couples outside the continental U.S. We've also traveled to do special weddings off-island, such as at the Four Seasons, Rowes Wharf and Copley hotels in Boston to the rural fields of Kennebunkport, ME.
